Hello, I am the webmaster of this website. My name is Makana Sylva. I have been working on this website for about two weeks now. This is my third website I've been working on. The first is http://makanasylva.tripod.com, and my second one is http://parkinglot113.tripod.com.

I began playing music when I was in the 6th grade. I played the saxophone. In high school I learned how to play marching percussion instruments including bass drum, tenor drums, and most intensively the snare drum. Brian Beceiro, Matt Prue, and Scott Suyama taught me through my sophomore year. I was taught later by Brian Peter, Jeff Doolittle, and Vince Oliver. During my senior year of high schol (Bishop Montgomery) I began playing with the Stanton Kingsmen, taught by Tom Float.

It was after my graduation where I seiriously began to work on web designing and html. Now after some months I am managing James' Jazz Quartet website and I enjoy this opportunity to help him. Thanks for visiting,
